Dynamo Belt
The dynamo (alternator) belt — today usually a single serpentine belt — drives the alternator, AC compressor, power steering pump and water pump from the crankshaft pulley. Rubber hardens and cracks quickly in Gulf heat, so belts are one of the most frequent service items.

Dynamo Belt — frequently asked questions
How do I read the belt size?
The code gives the number of ribs and length in millimetres, for example 6PK2100. It is printed on the outside of the belt.
Should I change the tensioner as well?
If it is noisy or the belt has been slipping, yes. We can quote the belt, tensioner and idlers as a kit.
